The wines from Clunia harvest a new success.
The most recent edition of renowned Spanish wine handbook Guía Peñín has once more ratified the quality of the wines from Clunia with outstanding ratings.
Their quality comes from terroir. From vineyards planted at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above the sea level, the wines from Clunia are carved by a hostile environment. Yet, it is this difficulty that makes them special. At Clunia, altitude counteracts the effects of climate change and preserves in the wines a delicate acidity, complexity and finesse that situates Clunia wines among the best wines from Spain, a fact confirmed by Guía Peñín year after year.
The wines from Clunia have received awards ever since the project was launched in 1999. In their admiration for Clunia, Guía Peñín has been joined by the internationally-acclaimed critic The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker), the Wine Enthusiast magazine, the AkataVino Sumilleres Competition of Spain (CIVAS) and the Tempranillos al Mundo wine challenge, to name but a few examples.
